Emotions Flare as Bryan White Welcomes back Ugandan girls from Slavery in Oman

Yesterday was an emotional day at the Bryan White Foundation as our Founder welcomed back some of our sisters who were stuck in Oman.

Sometime back, the plight of our sisters suffering in Oman where they had gone to seek greener pastures was brought to our Founder Bryan White’s attention by an online blogger called Calvin Kayanja.

These girls were being mistreated, tortured, not paid, underfed among the many atrocities that they endured.

Bryan White managed to buy them return tickets to help them get out of the slavery that they had served for years. Am he was glad that he helped a few of the thousands of Ugandan girls suffering abroad and that they are now safe home with their families.

The foundation is committed to continue helping anyone to better livelihood and further preaches to Ugandans to look upto employment opportunities within the country. We shall give the girls time off to heal physically and mentally after then we intend to equip them with technical skills to help them work from our peaceful Uganda.
